Fantastic Brush!

i really love the newer bulb shape coming out of the Rooney factory, and especially on the 2/1; one of the best looking shave brushes in production IMHO

Wow. A bulb-shaped Rooney. That should give it a little extra backbone (shorter hair near the outside of the knot).

Very nice! I'm looking at another Rooney. Is that a good soaps/creams brush?

I just tried it today with cream and it was great. The minute the brush hit the bowl the cream started to go to work. The loft is 52 MM so I would have to say that it would work well with soaps as well. I will try it with a soap next time I shave.

Thanks. I'm interested how it will work with soaps. If it's good, I'll pull the trigger on one.

I guess am a little slow, I just realized I don't have to shave to see if it works with soaps. I put the Rooney brush to the soap test and I would have to say it passed with flying colors.:thumbup1:
