Rooney 1/2 - Too Much Brush?

I have been using a Silver tip Rooney 1/2 in Horn. Very luxurious - but is it too much? It is a substantial brush when it's loaded with lather.

I probably could have gotten by with a 1/1.

I probably could have gotten by with only one razor in my rotation instead of 7, plus 4 others that are collectibles.

And the soaps ...

And the creams ...

And the multiple brands of blades ...

I'll be keeping my Rooney 1/2 - fits right in with my other excesses

Nah, its a 24mm knot, medium size really (though its density does make it seem a little more substantial).

My other brush right now is a 26mm Vulfix #41; the 1/2 seems dinky after the Vulfix.
