Rooney 1/1 (pure vs best)

Hey everyone. I am looking for a new brush. I like them small and scrubby, my 1/1 in finest is awesome. I am wondering what the 1/1 in pure and 1/1 in best are like. JIn particular, what kind of backbone do they have and how are the tips (scrathcy). Just looking for a similar and less expensive brush to put in the rotation. Thanks!

I haven't tried the best, but I really really like the pure 1/1. It's a bit scritchy, but it builds lather really well, and I enjoy the way it feels on my face quite a bit. To say I was floored by this brush would not be an exaggeration.

For reference: My brush rotation includes a Rooney 1/2 in Finest, 2 Plisson 16 HMW, 2 boars

*I'm not saying I'm right or take my word for it, but rather helping you know my frame of reference to see if our preferences stack up similarly

I used to own a 3/1 pure and it was a nice brush. Whipped up lather in no time.
