Hey guys...my name is Kevin,,,and I have a shaving addiction
First post, thanks for all the info on the forum, has really helped in my first month of DE shaving.
Like many, at first it was to save money on those crazy priced Fusion blades..$40 for 8 carts, I just couldn't do it anymore.
What I wasn't expecting was this obsession that has developed for shaving products....I don't think I'm spending less on shaving, but I sure am getting a lot more quality goods for my dollars.
The other day I actually found myself in a natural soap store in the mall, asking for shaving soap.
To my surprise they had a shaving soap, locally made and all natural...so I bought a chunk. (I actually bought a couple of different soaps for my wife and myself)
Made by a local company in Canmore Alberta, Rocky Mountain Soap Company...I like the "Do Not Eat" bags
Other than buying some soap there, I'm not affiliated with them at all
Heres the ingredient list....
I'm going to shred the block into a glass bowl and compress it, a first for me
Although I'm no expert, I will report my findings
Thanks again for all the interesting and educational information you have provided on this great forum.
I still find it a bit hard to believe that I actually really enjoy spending 20 minutes shaving...it used to be just a get-it-over-with chore
Cheers
Kevin
