For those not into Hockey or Canadian Country music this might not have much meaning for you but for the rest of us it is glum day indeed. I'll play a few of his songs tonight when I get home in memory.

I saw a band play at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto in the summer where he played regularly. It was amazing looking at the pictures on the wall there of all of the history that he was a part of.

Stompin' Tom loved my town (Sudbury), and we all loved him. We are in mourning and they have been playing his songs on the radio a lot this week.
