John Harden aka matches860 was a YouTube personality dealing with pipes and pipe tobacco. His daughter announced yesterday that he passed away.

I am not a regular YouTube watcher, but after I heard this news yesterday I watched a couple of his recent "Friday Night Live" shows. He seemed a very kind and laid back sort of guy who was willing to share his pipe smoking experiences with the world. If is always sad when we lose a pipe smoker, especially one as young as John. Prayers for his family and friends.

John was very welcoming into the community for me 7 or so years ago. I enjoyed a Friday night Savinelli last night for him.
From his daughter's Facebook post, it sounded like it was a freak allergic reaction to an antibiotic... not smoking related.
"The pipe nook" is having a group buy for the savinelli pipe shape he liked to smoke. A portion of the sales is going to his daughter
