What's new

RIP Harlan Ellison

I really enjoyed Ellison’s “Glass Teat” books, collections of television reviews culled from a weekly column he wrote in a 60’s ‘underground’ newspaper. Really entertaining take-downs of what was currently on tv, from a guy who worked in the business (and probably wrote that Joan Collins Star Trek episode at the same time he was doing these weekly reviews).
RIP

I loved his books. I have an autographed copy of one his book in the house. To this day "I have no Mouth and I must Scream" creaps me out.

A great non-fiction story featuring Ellison is "Frank Sinatra Has a Cold" by Gay Talese.
The Chairman of the Board and Ellison get into a row.
