Yep. He gave a great eulogy/song for George Jones too. I hope the Opry does something for him. Great voice too, though he could play about anything with strings on it.Say it isn't so! This really breaks my heart. He was an amazing person and a great musician. I would have liked to see him live at least a day more than me. I am grateful to know that he claimed to love Jesus, so I will see him in heaven one day.

I hoped to see him when I move South, in about four more years. I just thought he would always be here.Now I regret having never went and seen him play at the Hollywood Casino in Aurora. I lived 2 miles from the casino for 10 years and never went.
Amen. This was always my favorite song to play on the drums. Charlie ALWAYS emphasized his band being great musicians.My pops VOLUNTEERED for Vietnam at the age of 17. He lied to get his way in. This song likely speaks volumes to his afterlife.
