Rinsing of the soap

Do you rinse your soap off after use or just leave the remaining lather / bubbles on it?

*fwiw* Thats Stirling Soap Co's Black Cherry that I formed into a glass bowl with lid to use and keep fresh :)

I just leave the soap as is. Those bubbles and lather are comprised of soap, air and water. Any soap and water that is left behind after the bubbles burst will just get used the next day, or the water will evaporate if given enough time. I figure that not washing the unused soap down the drain is just one of the many ways that traditional shaving saves me money.

I rinse it and set it out on the counter in it's container so it can dry before I put the lid back on. I usually use a different soap each morning.

rinse - helps the effort out in terms of actually finishing products. The last thing I need to be doing is prolong their use.

i like a cleaner look to my pucks so i rinse. the left over stuff really doesn't add much more to the shave. i dont need the extra day leaving it probably extends the soap.

I always rinse and also have no idea why...probably the neat freak in me. I will add that I scoop out the lather on top of the puck with my finger and face lather, so there isn't much left there anyway. Certainly not going to make a difference in terms of use.

I like to rinse the soap off. Maybe the OCD in me that likes the clean look the next time I use it. I have so much soap and keep accumulating anyways to no point in trying to conserve the extra layer of soap.

Its not so much as conserving the soap as keeping it moist for me

There may be something to this too. I have seen threads that extolled the virtues of using a soap everyday, particularly in reference to MWF, as the increased moisture helps the lather.
I would not recommend letting it "dry out" each day.
