Ridged bowl for building lather

Does this look like it would be any good for building a decent brush load of lather? I'm going to have a try at bowl lathering a few of my soaps to see what sort of a lather I can get. At the moment I only have a brush scuttle which is too narrow and deep to use to bowl lather.

Wow!!!! That looks like it would be perfect to build lather in.

I'm no expert since I mostly face lather but from what I've seen this looks like the type of ridged bowl favoured by the bowl latherers.
Give it a go and let's see the results

That looks like it'll work great. My scuttle from Dirty Bird has ridges something like that. You should have no problem building lather at all.

I'd start by mixing a few practice lathers from both soaps and creams. That way you can fool around with the amounts of water, and the techniques for using that bowl. I'm sure you'll do fine.
