Revisiting my Harry's cartridges

I think I have an idea as well ;)

So just to clarify: Yes, multi-blade cartridges clog for me. No, rinsing them under running water does not sufficiently wash out the lather, stubble, etc. (Yes, some of it rinses out, but not sufficiently that I consider it really any kind of clean.) I hope that helps. :)

was gifted with a harry's kit by a friend.
put it into a shave-off with a gillette fusion, virtual tie.
totally decent shave, can't really knock it.
still, not the same aura or karma as shaving with my various DE's or straights!

I'd love to hear about anyone else's experiences when going back to try a cartridge razor.

After DE shaving for >10 years, I shifted to carts for speed and convenience. This tied in to a change in my work, but that is another story.

I tried many, and Mach3 was easily my favorite. I didn't like Harry's at all -- the pulling sensation that all carts have was much worse with Harry's.

About a year ago I came back to the DE camp, and this time around I think it is even more enjoyable than the first time.

Anyway, a month or so ago just for grins I decided to shave with a Mach3. Great result, but I couldn't believe how unpleasant the experience was compared to the DE.
