reusing atomizer?

Gents.

I bought some 5ml Penhaligons samples recently (pictured below), and was hoping to use an atomizer. Ive got one that was a freebie on a plane to spray water on myself confused1) that actually works pretty well.

Is there a way to clean it out? (and then after ive used up one of these samples and want to move on to the next clean it out again?) so I dont get any mixing, or is it easier to just buy a couple of clean atomizers?

i can smell again as of lunchtime today when I could tell what im eating again!

i dabbed a bit of BB on my wrist and have been getting little whifs of it all afternoon. A jolly good re-entry into the olfactory world. I can only smell cardamon and bergamot from it atm though - I expect my nose isnt fully funcitoning again yet.

still, better than nothing!

Sounds like it won't be wasted, although Dunny might get wasted!

Rubbing alcohol can have oil and fragrance added- up to 30%, cheap Vodka is the way to go.

I have never been entirely successful at cleaning out at atomizer.

I've tried everything from alcohol to bleach to baking soda to lemon juice and everything in between. It's not hard to clean the glass parts, but the plastic is what retains the smell.

I'd suggest picking up a few empties.

I have always let mine soak in the 91% alcohol and run plenty of it through the atomizer, the stronger the scent the longer the soak. I think I'll try the vodka the next time and see how it goes.

it was in the little pack of toothbrushes and earplugs. Some strange water spray, i suppose to 'refresh' myself.
