Greetings gentlemen (and ladies),
clearly my inquiry will lead to subjective opinions, but that is what I'm looking for, your emotional thoughts on what moves you.
The issue:
I'm brand new to DE wetshaving, and I'm addicted, and I mean addicted. I'm trying to convert any and all friends to the way of the DE blade and even the occasional stranger or two.
So I have an EJ DE89 lined, and it's been great fun and smooth shaving. I truly enjoy the ritual of the shave, every step is a Zen moment in my otherwise chaotic life. 15-20 minutes that require thought, patience, learning and calm. It's wonderful.
So, the only moment that breaks the quiet calm is the sudden slip of the barrel. I don't want to switch the barrel as I want to keep this and every future razor stock.
I'd like your opinions and suggestions on what to "add" to my shelf that is different enough from the EJ that I don't feel like I have two of the same just different handles, yet I'm not looking or ready for an extreme change (no slant or open comb yet).
So...?
