Results of eBay and too much free time

I got a little nuts on eBay last week with predictably bad results and I thought I would share with you all. I had previously purchased a very nice '49 SS on there with case at a great price so I decided to look for some other deals on vintage Gillettes. Here are the results, I apologize for the poor picture.

Top Row - Fat handle Tech, Canandian Fat handle tech, Fat handle "frankenrazor", Open comb Tech?, unidentified Brass safety razor, '53 (code y-2) SS, broken 40's SS - All these came in one batch for $15, most are pretty rough but the 2 complete Tech's and the complete SS are now cleaned and perfectly usable.

Second Row - '56 Flaretip SS (B-4), '66 Flaretip SS (L-2), '60 Bluetip SS (F-1), '56 Redtip SS (B-2), '59 Fatboy (E-2), and '67 Slim (M-1) came w/case.

All in all I payed I paid between $5-$20 for every piece in the second row except for the Fatboy which was $40 (probably too much but it is in perfect condition). Please correct me if I misidentified anything here as I am still learning about these old gillettes.

Could be worse.

You could be buying shave brushes, too.

Hi everybody, my name is ________. It's been one month since my last eBay purch. . . Oh, wait a minute.

Never mind.

Nice scores :thumbup1:. Now you've got to find yourself some other hobby before eBay bankrupts you:lol:

Do you really think the result would be any different? Golf clubs, collectors cards, pens, video games, etc, etc, etc. It seems like no matter what I do Ebay has the grave yards of whomever had that obsession before me!
