Awesome. Site looks great. One suggestion: If you could show examples of the 4 finishes, or list what the finishes are on the example pics, so we can compare them.

Always good to have an option - what are the prices? - don't see them on the link

Sorry to resurrect the thread, but I was wondering if when you finish replating a Fatboy, do you also paint the red indicator red like when the razor was new, or is that left out? I couldn't tell from the pictures provided and wanted to be sure. Thank you for your time.

oh black rhod.... !!

can you do stainless? and is there are any VERY minor things on a stainless can they be polished out first? i have a couple razors that came with tiny little specs on the handles and would love to plate them.

Does Stan check in here still? I'm considering having my Gillette Fatboy replated by them if they make it look new. If they just replate and leave you to paint the numbers and the red indicator yourself, I'll look elsewhere.

Anyone have a Fatboy replated by them that can advise?

I heard from him in a PM and informed me that he does fill in the numbers as well as detail paint the red indicator. Thought everyone here might like to know, in case that influences your decision to use them for replating.

Those vintage DE razors replated are just stunning! One question please: what are the advantages (if any) of Rhodium plating over Silver plating? I suppose they should look similar, but is Rhodium more durable and less subject to oxidation compared to Silver? Thank you.

You have the right idea Marco, rhodium is harder, no oxidation, almost as reflective as untarnished silver.

I agree the replates do look fabulous!
