What's new

Relief and annoyance all rolled into one Friday afternoon.

I Finally recieved my Superspeed this morning, which was posted on the 23rd of last month. I spent the lsat week or so thinking USPS and International customs were to blame, when it turns out, there were three parcels waiting on me in the depot, and the postman never left me an "attempted delivery docket" I know this for a fact because I am the only one who uses my front door and have been actively looking for it every time I come home.

The annoying thing is, the guy in the depot said "they were returning it to sender on monday", which would have really annoyed me. So it looks like, since I am always buying stuff online now, I shall have to call them up on a weekly basis to make sure they have nothing for me.

On the plus side, I now have in my posession a 1954 gillette superspeed, a 150 gr tub of Taylors Sandlewood cream and two PS3 games, yayhay :):)

I used to have a problem when I lived in a not so nice apartment with numerous doors off of a common hallway. When UPS left a notice of a package I would start posting a note telling them to hold it at the depot next to my office. The notices would stop getting posted, but the package never came. Eventually I would forget to post my note and that evening there would be a note that they left the package with a neighbor. One time I didn't get that notice, but the depot claimed it had been delivered my Chirstmas package of foodstuffs with a neighbor. A few days later that neighbor had a lot of Swiss Colony wrappers in their trash bin.

I hate when UPS or FedEx leaves packages with neighbors. what part of that makes sense to them. they routinely leave my packages at my neighbors, and i find that to be unacceptable.

I am blessed that i live in a small town where for the most part people can be trusted and I live in my own house so packages just get left in my garage with a note on the door.

,

God that's terrible, hope it gave them heartburn.

Even if my mailman had of left a note, since the depot is only 5 mins wlak away, it would have been no thing at all to walk down, thing is, status of the SS on USPS still reads "despatched to sort facility",lol, hence my em-amil queiries to the buyer, and the post office over here were gonna send it back to him on monday :(. If it wasn't for me wanting to have the PS3 games for when I see my kids tomorrow, I don't think I would have bothered with the phone call to Cust. Svse. this morning

Ah well, Alls well that ends well I suppose :)
