Refilling an atomizer

I purchased a 125 mL atomizer of Knize Ten. They also sell a 250 mL splash bottle. When I am done with the 125 mL atomizer, could I refill it with EdT from the 250 mL bottle using a syringe? Would opening the 125 mL bottle break the atomizer?

I have one of those big bottles, so I just checked it. It has a good-sized opening with a plastic bushing within it. I assume that bushing could be popped out, but even without doing that, I have decanted from the bottle simply by using a funnel....it comes out fairly fast.

Unless the atomiser is made for refilling (i.e. with a screw top) you will struggle to open it for refilling, and even if you managed to open it, reclosing it and making it air-tight would be even more difficult. Probably as well just to buy an empty atomiser of whatever size you require.

This frustrates me with the Trumper colognes. Many are available in large plastic bottles at excellent prices, but the 50ml glass / atomiser bottles can't be opened for refilling...

I have one, and I do not see anyway of getting the atomizer off of a 125 ml Knize bottle without destrying the atomizer.

There is actually a K10 atomizer bottle where the top can be screwed off for refilling it. When I bought that large 30+ oz bottle of K10 last year, it came with a free empty atomizer bottle. Maybe contact Colonial Drug and ask if they sell this bottle.

How large is that free atomizer bottle?

I never tried it, but personally wouldn't monkey with trying to pop an atomizer. If you're a very handy type adept with tools, perhaps.

It's got broken shards of glass and stitches in an ER written all over it to me. Le Labo boutiques make your bottle to order and as they finish filling the bottle, they have a specially designed, antique looking device they use to crimp the atomizer onto the bottle. Presumably they have some similar device to remove them since they are big on recycling their bottles.

They can be tricky to find, but you can purchase empty atomizers at a wide range of price points. Colonial would probably be a good place to check.
