I've restored many, many brushes, but never made one out of all new components. When visiting us a few months ago, SWMBO's twin daughters were facinated with my brush collection. They asked a thousand questions, and even had fun going through my box of future project brushes--asking how I was going to restore each one and playing with the new knots. They left it by saying "Uncle John, we want a brush."
So here they are--just in time for Christmas. The girls are 32 and identical twins. I didn't want to make the brushes identical, however, so they're sort of "opposite." I got the handles from Larry at Whipped Dog, and the knots from TGN. I had them custom engraved at a local trophy shop. They're both 22mm pure badger set at 50mm. The large brush in the last pic is a 30mm handle I also got from Larry. In it is also set a TGN 30mm Silvertip. All three are post bloom (to get the animal smell out for the girls.
