Red Tip SS

I finally used my Red Tip SS for the first time tonight. Holy Crap! I got the best shave I've had so far. Used EJ Aloe Vera Cream and a Crystal blade. All I can say is you guys that have been talking about how great the Red Tip is sure were telling the truth. Much closer shave with fewer passes and touch ups necessary and little to no irritation. It was even the first time I tried the EJ cream, so I was expecting a little bit of a challenge.

I've been using a 50's Flair Tip and getting pretty good shaves, but that may have just been put out of commission for a while.

I agree. I am glad that you are enjoying yours. It is very satisfying to find a razor that gives you great shaves. The Red Tip is a fine razor that constantly gives me great shaves. It is just one of the fine razors in the Gillette Super Speed stable.

Flare tips give an awesome shave , but red tips will cut through a few days beard growth with a little more ease !

That's what I had too, I hadn't shaved in 3 days. I was really impressed with the XTG and ATG the grain passes too though. It seemed much smoother than the Flare Tip.

Red Tips are great. Perfect balance of aggression and comfort. Works great on my sensitive skin. Works with almost every blade I've tried, too. Best $14 I've spent on eBay to date.
