My Ruger Mk III 22/45 in factory spec had magazine disconnect but using the Tandemkross hammer bushing allows removal of same. Unfortunately, there is no such Tandemkross solution for the Buckmark. You may want to investigate options online to eliminate the Buckmarks mag disco. I don't know how much that affects the trigger pull on the Buckmark. Tandemkross has a drop in "gear box" unit that does the same thing as the "Hegis flip" but is alleged to be more reliable. @OkieStubble , you might want to check this out:

Does your S&W have a magazine disconnect? My Buckmark does. I wonder if the disconnect affects trigger pull?

I don't think so. Either way, tandemkross has an inexpensive kit to bypass it. I don't know about my buckmark. It's 30 years old, and I haven't had the urge to mod a thing.
