Recommendations for new scales?

Apology to mods if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

I'm looking to acquire some NOS Japanese straights, and I value the steel and the blacksmith's craft more than the cheap plastic it comes with, so I'm looking for something a little more premium, to reflect the age & value of the blade.
Any recommendations for who makes quality new scales?
Open to recommendations for materials as well

There are some woods that are suitable, such as ebony, yeah. G-10 or micarta are good. Horn is beautiful but can be very hard to work with as it warps and when you straighten it, it warps again. Pre-ban ivory is great but difficult to source. One very good material that can closely resemble ivory is bone, particularly camel or giraffe bone, which are much more dense than buffalo or cattle bone. It is fairly durable, doesn't warp much.
