Recommend me a vintage razor to try

So far my rotation has consisted of an HD, a Tech, and an Injector. I'm not really in love with the HD and was thinking of selling it and trying another vintage razor. I love the way my Tech feels and shaves and have no real need for anything super aggressive or adjustable. What razor should I try?

My face does not like aggressive razors. So of the many razors I have tried the 40's and 50's Super Speeds give me the best shaves by far. I can get a BBS shave with on irritation or weepers. Derby blades work well but my favorite blade in a SS in a Feather. Hope this helps. :thumbup1:

A Super Speed. Any of them, really. I prefer the 50's, with a slight edge to the '47.

If you want something a little more nostalgic or aggressive, find a NEW.

I love my SS redtip. It's called "aggressive," but I find it much milder than my HD. My HD no longer sees the light of day.

How about trying an adjustable? Fatboy.

If you don't want an adjustable, then try an open comb gillette TTO. Not many choices with that criteria, but well worth it if you can snag one. (which I just did after posting this. lol!)

If you like the tech, and don't want super aggressive, I'd suggest a 1948-1950 Gillette DE. edit: Check out mr-razor.com to have a look at what these one peice ttos look like.
They are the first of the 'notched' TTOs and have no date code. You can get either a superspeed or an aristocrat from that era and both of them have plenty of fans here.

The Gem bullet tip handle is also a very mild shaver that puts in a solid performance. Probably more mild than the 1912, but the 1912 looks better IMO.

Well, here's the plan:

40s SS (bought)
NEW
GEM
Red tip

I'll cycle through and see if I can't find one for my rotation. Thanks guys.
