Recommend a tough/sturdy smart watch

Straightforward, just like the title says.

I am looking for recommendations/reviews on smart watches. Don't care about fancy, just something that cant take a beating. I’ve seen adds for Njord and Carbinex but I wanna know what you guys wear/like and why before I make a purchase.

Garmin Fenix series
Have been using Garmin Fenix 6pro Solar for the past 3 years.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I recently got a gt3 pro and quite happy with it.

Pro:
- All titanium with sapphire glass, makes it pretty sturdy unless compared to all-terrain watches
- Designed for diving so pretty waterproof
- Looks great, wearable for pretty much all occasions, from sport to fancy.
- Taking calls with the watch works pretty good
- Lasts atleast 7 days with semi-intensive use, charges in about an hour. (Double that with light use.)

Con:
- Online watch, need to carry your smartphone with you if you want to take calls and messages
- Quite a few functions are not supported where I live for legal reasons (ecg the one I'm most unhappy about.)
- Health treacking isn't bad, but my wife's garmin venu is much better at it by quite the margin
- On the expensive side compared to budget options.

What do you mean by "smart watch" - fitness tracker only? Apple Watch? Google OS watch? Other?
What functionality are you looking for?
