Recommend a Splash

Hey guys,

just looking for an aftershave splash that isn't "cologne" like in how long the fragrance lasts. I wear some cologne's and dont want to conflict fragrances. I have heard that certain brands have a fragrance that will last for a few minutes post shave and thats it. Can you guys recommend some brands?

Thayer's witch hazel with aloe is very soothing an does not have a scent. I follow this with aloe vera gel to moisturize and protect my skin.

The Proraso aftershave splash contain witch hazel and menthol, you have the benefits of witch hazel + a little menthol kick.

If you're looking for a slightly more economical option, you can skip the Thayers and for about $1.50, have a big ol' jug of witch hazel from your local drug store.

Not that the $10 or so you spend on a bottle of Thayers is a big purchase, but I prefer the basic WC that stings your nostrils a little

Another vote for Proraso. Get the 400ml bottle and you will be set.

I love the Proraso splash and witch hazel equally. If you like a menthol blast then the Proraso is the go, if not, get a bottle of witch hazel.

I found some $1 witch hazel at the dollar store it said compare to DN Wickinsons.

They smell great but have very little longevity. Won't interfere with your choice of cologne.

Hmmm great suggestions guys! Boosters are a great option for me as I can get them online. The Lucido stuff is intriguing as well. I'll have to try some! Thanks guys!

If your able to find some (Germany) "Tuff" would be the best of the best in my opinion.

I really like Speick but the scent doesn't last very long. I usually do Speick then a moisturizer afterwords.

Another vote for Proraso. Mix it with a tiny dab of Proraso pre-post and you're set.
