Recommend a new shaving cream for me?

Hi,

I am starting to look low on my shaving cream and wanting to make a couple of acquisitions.

Recommend me some new creams please? Something fresh, lifting, with a bit of punch!

But I'm not interested in these scents

- Sandalwood (grew up with it)
- Coconut (grew up with it)
- Lavender (the thought of it makes me nauseous)

I am currently use Truefit & Hill West Indian Limes (love the scent, unimpressed with its staying power).

Acca kappa 1869 is like a very, very, very mellowed Cella (scentwise) with different consistency and much, much, much better performance. Its actually what I expected Cella to be due to all the hoopla about it on the boards. AK 1869 is such an underrated cream it just doesnt make sense. Anyways, some ppl are having trouble finding a tub and I really hope it's not being discontinued.

Acqua di Parma is good, I don't think is as good as AK 1869 (Ive used it twice only, so I'm still on the fence about it) but it smells awesome, kinda expensive though.

I know you said you didn't want sandalwood being recommended but have you smelled T&H "sandalwood"? According to some ppl theres nothing sandalwood about it and it kinda smells like Davidoff's cool water. Its the best scent I've tried in a shaving cream. Also, I've smelled, TOBS, proraso and C&E sandalwoods and there's no resemblance between those and T&H sandalwood, you could argue there's common scents/ingredients in the former 3 though.

Acca Kappa 1869 (in the tub) is one of the highest-quality creams on the planet. I'm very glad to see somebody else trying it.

Check out Castle Forbes lime, as somebody previously suggested.

Also, Musgo Real would be worth investigating.

Awesome! You will be amazed at the performance! Its price/performance ratio isn't matched at 6.7 oz of product for $20 and shipping, not even proraso comes close.

Please give Castle Forbes Lime a try. IMO,its the best shaving cream on the market today. Since you apparantly enjoy the lime scent,you'll love this one !
