recomendations on a EDC bag

looking for a EDC bag. i am looking at a puch pack, i guess there called something like this

Looks like a nice pack, but I've avoided bags like that for daily use, as they seem to tell everyone around "Hey, this guy's packing!"

I like this bag for a lot of reasons.

I carried a similar bag - http://www.amazon.com/UTG-Multi-functional-Tactical-Messenger-Bag/dp/B003TWZGRI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1364255704&sr=8-2&keywords=utg+tactical+bag - for 2 years. I thought I wanted something smaller because I didn't carry enough to warrant dragging a backpack around everywhere, but after a while I found the lack of space too limiting. Plus there wasn't enough organization for my taste. That, and no matter how much you try to convince yourself/others that it's a tactical bag, after 2 years of 'man purse' taunts, you start to look at it the same way...

Now I carry the 5.11 Rush MOAB 10, which is a sling pack, so it's easy to grab and carry, but not quite as cumbersome as a full backpack/daypack. I do wish the main compartment was just slightly deeper but, aside from that, I'm quite happy with it. For now...
