Reccomendations for my Girlfriend, please.

She wants a safety razor for her legs. I told her to look up the Lady Gillette. And that's about all I know. Are there women's shaving lathers? Do they use a brush?

I call upon the informed gentlemen of B&B to recommend my girlfriend a safety razor and accessories.

Thank you.

Well, my wife as a Gillette lady in blue, uses Kiss My Face mint that she rubs on with her hands. She seems happy. One other thing is that a woman's legs aren't as sensitive as man's face, so just about any blade seems to work.

Mama Bear has soaps scented for women (and a plethora of scented soaps period, if she's adventurous). I second the rec for KMF. Very nice scents, lathers well, and can be used brushless. If you don't want to search for a Lady Gillette, it'd be hard to go wrong with a Tech. There is also the Milady but I believe that's pretty rare. I'd go with a brush with a nice knot over one with a feminine handle.

Sounds like great advice.

My wife still uses her pick disposable razors, but loves the Kiss My Face Lavendar shave cream I brought home for her. She buys it herself, now. And she uses the C&E brush I gave her, too.

I myself use a (69` blue) Lady Gillette with derby blades.
Purchased from a member here on the forum.

I have THIS brush from www.penworks.us.

As far as soap goes I use my own.

If she wants to use one, I think a boar brush would be better for legs. It would do a better job of exfoliating dead cells. Better yet, just get her both. A good badger and a firm boar. A Gillette Knack might be good, if she is used to the long handle. Otherwise the fellows have made great suggestions for razors.

+3 on the Mama Bear soaps. As much variety as you could want. St. Charles Shave has great soaps as well. Man, what a Pandora's Box. Most women's HBA addictions make your AD's look like the occasional whimsical purchase.

Might want to consider a Gem, my wife and sister in law found a Gem to have less of a learning curve than a DE. Sister in law uses a Micromatic.

I got my wife a blue Lady Gillette. She uses it all the time now and likes it a lot. She wants my Kiss My Face pump, and uses my red Israeli's but I am OK with that. She likes the long handle
