Really this was Scrap !

I saved these from the bucket and
put them together.
I think that it's going to be one of my favorites. The color and grain in the Cocobolo is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice.
The other wood is Rosewood and it just adds so much .
Now what knot ? 00100lrPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200226114847258_COVER.jpg 00100lrPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200226114840613_COVER.jpg 00100lrPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200226114814179_COVER.jpg 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20200226114746126.jpg

Can I share a rosewood story real quick without detracting from thread?

A guy I know put a piece of hedge in the wood lathe, turned it on at a high rpm right off the batt, it had a crack in it which split. Flew out. Hit him in the face. Turned the hedge to a slightly rosewood color LOL.

OK, back to beautiful brush handle.....

That is stunning Steve. It is a close match to the giving tree. The color combos and contrast is amazing. I think you should do one of the Elite manchurian knots in it.

Well guys I finished the handle and the finish was like glass. But I just wasn't happy with the shape of the top cap , to My eye it was a little bit bigger than it should have been. So back on the lathe
it went . Sharpened my tools and to it for a spin. I believe that I will be happy now.IMG_20200227_112832.jpgIMG_20200227_112839.jpg
And while I was thinking about what to do
I took this glue up for a spin
