Has anyone here tried honing SE blades?
re-sharpening SE blades

Someone posted some information a bit ago that showed that honing blades really accomplishes nothing. I hand strop SE blades, but whether that does anything or not, I don't know.

but can't honing give you a better edge than factory grinders?
Perhaps, if you could tool things up to match the factory bevel angle. for the most part, attempts to rehone replaceable blades are pretty casually undertaken with respect to angle and technique.
