I've been hearing good things about Petal Pusher Fancies soaps and recently traded for a couple of tins. Why on the unused puck is it wrapped in paper? Are they using cheap tins that tend to rust? Do you just peel the top of the paper off or remove the puck and unwrap all of it?

B&M does this too. It's just presentation I think. My tin gets wet all the time and no rust. Great soap, some of the best!

Oh, when I think about it it also could be to keep the soap from melting in transport into the tin so that you can take it out of the tin and just put it in a mug. I just remembered that I sent them an email asking why I couldn't just order a puck and they said it was because their soaps are very moist and can make a mess in the packaging without the tin.

Thanks IMBW just never seen a puck wrapped in paper and come in a vendor tin also. My B&M pucks were wrapped but I purchased them alone not in a tin
The soap is kinda soft so you can easily unwrap it and press it in the tin.
