That dark knot is the perfect compliment to the handle. A simple reknot is what got be in this rabbit hole. Good to see you reknotting and making some of your own!
That looks great, loving the handle. I almost ordered a horse hair knot but went with a black badger instead. I'll have to grab one at some point. Does it have a fair bit of backbone?

I used it this morning and the tips are very soft and it has nice back bone I also like the way it feels in My hand ,I was able to whip some nice lather from RR P160 in about 20 sec.
Sounds right up my street. Will give one a try, just a hunt for another handle firstly.
That's an attractive handle and the dark knot looks great in it.
