RazoRock XX

Ok Gents, here it goes. I used RazoRock XX today and just like the other RazoRock croaps I've used, I got an excellent shave. Now, the scent. This reminds me of L'Occitaine Cade aftershave balm. Don't get me wrong, I liked Cade when I first purchased it then it just fell of with me. XX reminds me of a woman who used to live 5 doors down from me. When she came out of the door, you could smell her perfume and she wanted to give us a ride to school and we knew we going to have to take quick short breathes. Kind of like being in the gas chamber, you know you're going to have to suck it in at some point in time. Maybe I'm just over exaggerating. I kind of like the old lady sweet perfume, but I like it on old ladies. After I lathered, the scent called down. It does not smell like XXX or ADP COLONIA Collezione Barbiere shave cream.

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, and at first I wasn't crazy about the scent, but the more I've used the croap, the more I've noticed the scent "coming out" or "unlocking" and I am actually starting to enjoy it. Maybe with more uses the scent will adapt and you'll enjoy it more?

Old lady? I didn't get that at all. Maybe we know different old ladys.

I followed up with with some witch hazel and T&H Trafalgar aftershave balm. I think that was a nice pairing.

The fragrance reminds me of Aqua di Gio which I happened to have a bottle of. I cannot tell the difference between the two.

It does not smell like XXX or ADP COLONIA Collezione Barbiere shave cream.

According to strong hints posted by RR Joe, the scent is provided by ADP Blu Mediterraneo.

To be specific, the scent of XX is Mirto di Panarea which is part of ADP's Blu Mediterraneo line.



As of now there are five scents in the Blu Mediterraneo line. There were a few more but some have been discontinued.
