(P)lace the blade on /over the pins then push down between the pins. the blade drops, then grab the head/blade at the ends and drop the plate on and tighten. No worries on the blade breaking.
Yup, pretty much what I do. Pretty much what I do with any razor, come to think of it.
I remember the old PAA Alpha Ecliptic Oxblood Bakelite tilted slant had tight pins, too. Since it was bakelite the pins eventually got shaved down a little. That's not happening with the Superslant. Before I hit on a technique for loading, though, I did bend the inner tabs on a blade, but it didn't affect either the blade integrity or the shave.
