I am on Fixed Four For March Madness. Yhe setting change on my Pearl Flexi V2 is yhe only joy i have to make me feel that I am using a different razor :letterk1:

My last 5:
Rockwell 6C (plate 6)
Razorock BBS stainless
Gillette NEW Short Comb
Gillette Super Speed Blue Tip
Razorock Lupo 72
all of the above using the great Viking Sword blade

I am trying to put a fine polish on my technique so I have been using a single razor for the last week and half and plan to do so for a while, my ATT Atlas Classic H1 always with a feather and TOBS Avocado, only the brush changes each time.

I've been doing a comparison on my favourite razors. I've given up on rating shaves as BBS, DFS, etc as I find them way too arbitrary, so I've switched to measuring efficiency in terms of how many hours it takes to feel any significant growth in the chinstrap area, my heaviest beard area. Obviously this is a bit objective as well, but the best I can come up with. The numbers in square brackets are the number of hours the shave 'lasted'. All shaves were with Nacet blades, from 1 to 5 uses. All shaves were irritation free.

This surprised me, but so far I give the comfort edge to the Rockwell, plate 5.

Today's shave has no number yet because obviously I won't know until tonight, but I switched from a Titanium handle on the .68 SB to a RR Bulldog. The shave felt closer than the one with the titanium. Will see if it lasts longer.

14 hrs is also by best. May be useful to keep track of the blade used.
