Rockwell 6C, 6 days.

After many weeks using only my AS-D2, I decided to spend a week with the 6C for the first time in about a year, to make sure I want to sell it. Never used it much and didn't get along with it very well.

Well, I don't know how I missed the boat the first time around, but I discovered the magic. Plates 4 and 5 both work like a charm for me, 6 days of close, comfortable perfect shaves. It probably will get sold, but only because I ordered a 6S yesterday.

I used my new King C. Gillette for the last five days.

I'm impressed. An efficient shaver. I've been getting good, one-pass-with-touch up shaves. Nary a nick or any irritation. Fit and finish is excellent.

I was worried I wouldn't like the long handle. But it was fine. Weight is well balanced and the handle is easier to grip than I thought by just looking at it.

For the next five shaves, the Heritage, so I can compare the two latest offerings from Gillette.

I didn’t care for the finish on the 6S vs the 6C. It seemed to get stuck on my face and skip more. As always, YMMV.
