Just got my first vintage razor today. Went with a Gillette Slim adjustable. If I decide that I really like it, where is the best place to get it revamped? I know of razor emporium but are there better ones out there. I don't want anything crazy. Just want it to look brand new again and last another 50 to 60 years. Thanks.

I’ve personally had work done by Chris Evatt from Razorplate.com and he did wonderful work. I’ve also read very good things about BackRoadsGold.
If you want a different take on the plating I would recommend Sherlock Razor Co.

No problem, I have a Fat Boy going their way shortly.. Looking forward to how this will turn out. It's good to have options and this is a twist on the traditional.
