Razor identification help

Hi all, i picked up this razor a little while back and after scanning the web i am no nearer to findind out the makers name or the model.
So if there is anyone who can help me end my quest, i would be gratefull. Sorry about the low quality photos.

I believe I've seen ones like this labeled "Pax" before -- a French copy, IIRC, of the Kampfe Bros. Star razor with a bit of Gem mixed in.

Yes a late wedge blade model Kampfe style knock off, probably around 1906 just before the new Gillette took over

Cheers guys for the information, and after more scanning on the net i think you are all right it looks like a mix and match type copy, but it sure shaves nice
with a new gem ss in it.

I think this one is a keeper.

This razor really tells a story, the end of the lather catcher with the head and the start of the Gillette revolution with the obviously Gillette influenced handle.

Almost the end I would say as apparently CV Heljestrand continued the wedge blade lather catcher into the 1930s as I even have two that are stainless steel safety razors along with two almost identical appearing plated brass versions. I can find no references at all to the stainless steel ones. No one admits that they exist so far as I can tell. I have a PAX on the way and it was made by a St Etienne maker of arms and cycles per the head markings.
