Purchased off ebay today for relatively cheap-anyone know the exact model and year of this one?

It's an Aluminum Tech. Late 60s, early 70s. Should have a date code if it's US made. Seen British ones like that as well. Should be a damn fine shaver!

I'm currently looking for something like this, I just love the ornate handles. Now if I could just get one pre-WWII with a fancy handle that would be awesome.

Given that it's aluminum, how much lighter is it than the earlier, heavier gillette models?

Ill let you know. I have an alum handle gillette from the late 40s and its heavy enough for me personally....
