I recently got into SR shaving and honing when I came across my Grandpa's Real Old English Razor and the Raven honing stone that he used at the turn of the century, 119 years ago.
I already had some stones for woodworking, and picked up a few more razors and stones, a Norton 4000/8000, a 6 x 2 corticule, and a 6 x 2 hard black arkie.
I am having pretty good results with the Norton, but cort's and ark's are pretty new to me.

But I digress, this post is about the Raven. It was severely concaved from use, but I have gotten it pretty flat with w/d sandpaper.
I guess my question is, what would be the best way to prepare this stone for use, and where in my honing progression would it best be used(if at all). It appears to be around 6k grit.
