This thread is about 2 1/2 years old. After the 100th post I made a rough count of the razors that were suggested as "the 5 best shaving razors."

It appears the Gillette Slim, the Gillette Tech, and the Gillette NEW received the most votes.

I can't whittle my list down to 5 - I manage to get it down to 12 or 15 but that's as far as I get. I can say that they are all vintage (well, one is a vintage clone), and only one is a Gillette.
