Merkur Progress
Game Changer .84 with Super Knurl!
Fatip Piccollo
Gillette New LC
Gillette Tech

Dishonorable mention:

Gillette Old Type. I should not feel like I'm disarming newly discovered unexploded Luftwaffe ordnance while I'm shaving

The Cadet Open Comb. Mine is kept disassembled and ready for inspection under the New START strategic arms reduction treaty of 2010.

I've found that the more deeply I delve into this thing, the more I have a preference for 2-piece or 3-piece razors rather than TTOs.

I think the 2-piece and 3-piece have a more solid, slicker, and stable design. TTOs seem to be a bit bulky, a little rattle, and hollow. Not saying all TTOs suck. Just harder to get a solid feel in one. So far the Rockwell Model T, if you close it properly, seem to give me a solid feel and shave. I can't complain.

Top 5 in no real order:

Merkur Progress
Merkur Futur
Rex Ambassador
Rockwell 6S
ATT SE 1

Others of note:

Colonial General SS
Gillette Fatboy
Razorock Hawk SS
Fatip Grande
Timeless

Above The Tie M2

I’ve only used my Rex once, but it’s a smooth shaver and would probably make the list if it didn’t cover the blade tabs.
