I'd love to find a local coffee shop. I'd be a regular even if the coffee sucked.
all I got is starbucks, panera, krispy cream and fast food.

As of now my brother is in the coffee shop business in Youngstown. He changes jobs like I change blades. He has done almost everything in the restaurant business.

Another insight coffee house. What's unique about this was it house an old book store back in the day. First time being in here and upon entering your greeted with the scent of old books and coffee. Brought back memories of Catholic school. Lol.

Nice pictures. Is that a slice of a giant tree stump hanging on the brick wall?

Yes. A gent here in the city re-purposes downed trees and turns them into counter tops, benches and so forth. Many of the trees here in the city are hundred+ years old and as a storm system comes through town such as the one we have now, trees go down and they call him to salvage it. A win/win if you ask me.

Let me bring up an old thread.

Well folks our coffee maker gave up after 8 faithful years of service. A fancy Mr. Coffee machine. It was a decent cup of Joe. Having said that.....
Yes!
Wife and I decided to splurge a bit and get the Technivorm moccamaster.
Excited to see how good of a cup it makes.
Should be here Saturday.
Excited!:w00t:

Fussy Evil Genius
I'm sorry to hear about the death in the family, but it sounds like the new bundle of joy will more than make up for it!

Wife decided to throw some color at it. Yaay. Also go me a vintage decanter for holding my daily iced coffee fix. A glass decanter made by David Douglas. A really beautiful piece.
