RAD Strike again : / What did I purchased ?

I saw this bundle of 180 vintage Personna and couldnt resist the RAD. I didn't find any info about them on the net, I only know that there is 'Personna Super Stainless - Made In USA' on the blades and are wrapped in a wax paper. The seller said they were issued for Military usage :D I don't think I got screwed for 30$/180 blades.

PS: The seller confirmed that they were produced between 1960 and 1977.

I see part of the address is listed as "New York 17, N.Y." - the "17" is a Postal Zone, used prior to the introduction of ZIP Codes in 1963. So I'm betting these blades are at least 50 years old.

I didn't received them yet, the 2nd and 3rd pictures are from another auction. The lot I won could be younger.

That is some steely-eyed detective work! Cool!

Do any 1960's ear veterans recall being issued these blades? Or anyone else from the 60's remember them? (Yea, I know, no one remembers the 60's!)

From what I saw on the sell history of this seller, he sold 2 other pack of 180 blades. Someone somewhere must have a clue about these :)

I've received them, they are quite different from what I thought I'd reveive. As you can see on the pictures I took, the packaging is reversed and you read 'Advenced Personna Super Stainless' after you opened it. Also, there is no mention of 'Super Stainless' anywhere on the blade. I didn't tried them yet, my beard was not long enough : (

On the paper you can read: Made In Usa - AMERICAN SAFETY RAZOR CO. DIVISION OF PHILIP MORRIS, INC. NEW YORK N.Y. 10017

Have you gotten a chance to try these blades yet? Interested to hear your thoughts on these and if you can verify they are carbon steel vs. SS.
