I purchased one last month, I've not tried it out yet. I also have a '41 Ranger Tech which I recently purchased that I haven't tried.

The Twist works well. No nicks. No blood. I can definitely see how it can go south; that blade is really close to the comb. I don't think I've found the sweet spot in terms of shaving angle yet, but the shave was quite good.
I have one and it is very nice. You have to experiment with the angle. I also got the stand for the Muhle which works nicely with it.
Yes, just got one myself and it does call for a much shallower angle, about 20degrees versus the "standard" 30. My shave got better when I learned this.
It's a beautiful razor, and a sweet shaver too -- I find myself reaching for mine when I know I will be able to take my time and give my complete attention to my shave. I like an EJ or a 34C for something a little more quick & careless.
Maybe, if I get a decent income tax return, I will order a Mühle R89 Twist and have all my bases covered.
