Quilt 2.0

So I had some more scraps and some of the grain is just amazing !
When I glue these up I really don't have a plan , I just put them
together and see what comes out .
A few of you have seen this , well here it is done I just need to set a
knot and I am not sure which way to go ,I already have quite a few 2 band badgers
and they all feel great but I am thinking maybe
This one has some sections of grain that I just want everyone to see. NEW-Graydog.jpg12.jpg NEW-Graydog.jpg13.jpg NEW-Graydog.jpg15.jpg NEW-Graydog.jpg18.jpg NEW-Graydog.jpg19.jpg

I don't have the patience to turn a shave brush let alone to glue up a blank in suck an intricate manner. Very nice.

That looks awesome. The finish makes the grain pop even more than the earlier pictures I saw. Looks like 11 pieces of wood if my count is right. I would imagine the different grains and densitys of the wood would make turning that a bit more of a challenge.

Once you get it like a cylinder it is not bad, that is when you can see what is
and what isn't and then find a shape that works with the layers
