Questions regarding Vulfix Super Badger #374

I'm thinking about buying the vulfix brush in the massdrop that is currently going on (Search on their website if wonder, I don't link to it since I'm unsure if it's ok). Images: (1), (2)

Price would be $40 (+$4 Shipping in my case), is it a good brush? Is it worth it? The brush on Vulfix website, costs £34 + VAT + Shipping, so from that it sure would be a good deal, but that's assuming it's a good brush.

Anyone have any experience of it? How dense is it? Personally I have a 21 mm silvertip by frank shaving which I find to be quite nice (Among a few other brushes), how would this brush compare? Smaller knot, but the density? Backbone? Any experience of vulfix in general, how is their quality?

I was looking at this as well. Saw some pretty mixed reviews. Some say its way too floppy, others say it has plenty of backbone. I'm tempted to try it out.

Their quality is top notch... They are know to have less back bone, not on the same level as a chubby or say a Simpsons Classic. I love my 2236. Ymmv

Hmm, I guess I'm less inclined to buy then, I like some backbone... but I guess I'll see in a few days :p.

Pretty good brush and a very reasonable price now that the drop is fully fulfilled. It's not the "best shaving brush in the market" that the drop says it is, but very decent for the price.

Vulfix brushes are, in general, better left to bowl lathering and applying lather using painting strokes. I have had a 374 silvertip and currently own TOBS and Trumper brushes both made by Vulfix and wouldn't even bother trying to face lather with them. But they are a delight to use, especially with shaving creams.

Ah, as an almost exclusive face latherer that would be a deal breaker and only applying painting strokes... nah... not for me :p.
