Questions on balm... what is your favorite?

I wouldn’t describe Stirling balms as thin at all. I’m fact as balms go they’re pretty thick.

I concur, Stirling balms are a lot closer in consistency to balms(salve like)than to lotions.

I prefer alcohol based AS splashes over balms in general, but Stirling SDM balm is sensational. The other one that performed great was Proraso Red pre-shave cream (used to be pre and post shave).

You really can't go wrong with Nivea or Proraso balms, all are great performers. Scent wise I really like Proraso Cypress & Vetyver (dark green label).

Anything more expensive than that to me would be money wasted. When it comes to ditching out $50-200, I'd much rather buy a good EDP, than any overpriced balm.
