Questions about British Gillette #77 RFB

Can any of the vintage razor experts here let me know what was the original plating for these? Was it nickel on brass?

Also, what does RFB stand for?

I believe RFB is Raised Flat Bottom.

As far as I’ve read, all ’raised flat bottom’ Brits are either nickel-plated brass or silver-plated brass.

Hello, silver with a coat of lacquer, for later models nickel without lacquer, gold without lacquer for the Milady version.
