How many shaves do you get? Do you found they dull quickly?
Question for those who use the Silver Star regularly.

I bin my DE blades after 5 shaves, except Feather which I bin after 3 shaves.
Silver Star is good to go for 5 shaves.

I'm with never-stop-learning .... it's a nice blade good for 5 shaves .
Depending on the razor, I get about 5 - 7 shaves on the Silver Star blades. They are a very good blade for the money, IMHO.

3 shaves for me but that is the same for most blades. Silver Stars are excellent blades though.
Fine blades, last one was good for 7 shaves for me!

I really like them. They are actually my favourite of all the Lord blades. Shark SS are my 2nd favourite of the Lord blades.

I have thousands of blades. If I were to use each one 5 times, my great grand nephews would inherit them, 80 years from now. Yes, I have that many. So I bin every blade after two shaves, no matter what it is. Too cheap a product to not have a fresh one often.
I also have thousands of blades, and toss most blades after 2 shaves. There are 4 blades I can get 3 shaves comfortably. Silver Stars are great blades, but I typically toss them at 2 shaves. For me, these are the best of the Lord products.
I get anywhere from 7-10 shaves from most blades and the Silver Stars are about the same.
Good man! The main issue is to enjoy what you have!
(And it is not that easy to get your heirs into ’traditional’ wet shaving IME.)
