Question about Star Shaving

Has anyone had any issues, specifically communication (or lack thereof) with this company? Reason I ask is I ordered a Big Daddy strop on Monday and, other than the order confirmation email, I have not heard anything. I sent their sales dept an email yesterday just to make sure there was nothing wrong on my end that would be holding up the sale and have not heard back. I know people get busy but this seems strange to me. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
 
I just received an email from Ron at Star Shaving. He has been out and his daughter is handling things. I figured it was something like that and not poor customer service. FYI Ron said he's having back surgery soon so keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
 
I placed several orders with him a year or so back, and Ron was fantastic to work with. He really provided me with first rate customer service. Its sad to hear he is having trouble, as he is a really classy guy. Get better Ron!
 
I believe because his daughter is handling the business- things are a bit slower and communication is lacking- but you should eventually get your item(s).
 
Service is Great.
I had a question about the wool strop and it all ended with them sending me a replacement for free. And I live far away, still not a word about shipping. Will definitely shop my next strop from them.
 
I too am waiting for my Big Daddy to ship. I bought it a week ago & it still hasn't shipped.
